Introducing “Day by Day” – the second single from Tom Spirals and DJ Vadim’s upcoming album Patchwork, featuring the soulful vocals of Dub Princess.
A heartfelt fusion of rub-a-dub flows, rich brass sections, deep 808 basslines, and soulful melodies, “Day by Day” showcases DJ Vadim’s signature production finesse. The track explores the emotional journey of falling for someone still healing from a broken heart — a story of patience, vulnerability, and learning to live in the moment.
With its central message of taking life “day by day,” the song invites listeners to let go of past wounds and future worries, embracing love one step at a time.
Tom Spirals and Dub Princess first crossed paths in 2016 at Glasgow’s legendary Walk’n’Skank night. Their musical chemistry quickly sparked, leading to a joint tour in Australia where Tom joined Dub Princess’s band as an MC. Though they’ve shared stages worldwide and remained close collaborators ever since, “Day by Day” marks their long-awaited first official release together
